Dressing out of your comfort zone

Hi Everyone,

How have you been? Glad that I am able to take time to meet you guys today. The weather is beautiful here. Sunny and bright, yet nice and cool. The warm weather is almost over. Guess what…. Today is the first day of Fall…..It marks the beginning of the Fall season. Fall is my favorite season of the year. Do you know  my birthday is on Halloween Oct 31st. It is on the way…….Just do not want to be reminded:-( how ‘young’ I am ….)  But celebrating birthday is surely a fun thing……

The dress that I am going to show you today is a fall color jumpsuit. The brand is Beige by ECI. I have never tried jumpsuit before for some reason though I have clothing of all different kinds and styles in my wardrobe.

The mustard color, the flutter sleeves, V neck and bell bottom of the jumpsuit attracted my attention. So I decided to give it a try.

Looking through my jewel box I found this black and mustard color bracelet to go with the look.

Here are a few tips that I want to share with you about how to step out of the comfort zone of your style:

I believe every individual has her/his comfort zone as for fashion. Some people feel comfortable in dresses and statement heels. Others feel more at home wearing jeans, t-shirts and tennis shoes.

Some people prefer certain style of dresses like me for instance – sheath, fit and flare and A line dresses….and rarely wear maxi, two-piece outfits…..

As long as your comfort zone matches your style, you wear the right clothing on the right occasion, I think it should be fine……

But my point here would be:

Do NOT let your comfort zone prevent you from trying new style and new colors. You never know what the new look might give you unless you try it…. It might give you the same level of confidence with brand new great style.

Lastly I would say

Confidence and self esteem is a good way to help you step into your new territory. Actually it is the ONLY best style in the world which no other style can compete with:-)

  2. Aww yes fall is here. I do like fall Bonnie! That is so fun your birthday is halloween! You look so cute in this jumpsuit Dear !! A great fall color. I love the flutter sleeves and the bellbottoms are a fun look. I like all the accesories you put with it. Cute bracelet and the crossbody bag. It is good to step out of your comfort zone, trying on items in a store is a great way to experiment with that. Sometimes you look in the mirror and laugh “this will never work” but sometimes you look and realise this might just work. Self esteem is a way of telling the world I am doing this for Me.
