My Passion For Wearing Floral

Hello my dear friends,

I have been working diligently to get ready for my new post for this week. Hope everyone is doing great and enjoying the beautiful summer.

I have always had a passion and desire to wear floral. I love every bit of it. Spring and summer do NOT feel complete without the bright colors of floral. Luckily floral prints are on trends these days and are always in fashion some form or another.

This Calvin Klein Printed sheath dress I adore it so much. My favorite Regatta Multi floral pattern with bell sleeves.

I paired the dress with my silver pump  and cross body bag by Liz Claiborne.

I wear a silver bracelet with blue  here to match the overall look.

I want to share some of my ideas on how to accessorize a floral dress:

Jewelry

Avoid colorful jewelry. Accessorize a floral dress of any color with pieces that are delicate, subtle and simple. The rule of thumb is that less is more

Shoes

Wear floral dress with neutral pumps, sandals and wedges. Pick one of the sober shades of the dress and match the color of shoes. In my case I picked the silver/grey

Handbags

Select a bag that matches the most prominent color in your floral dress. If it is too loud, tone it down with a solid neutral colors such as sliver grey, black, white, beige or brown. In my case I matched my cross body bag with my silver color shoes.

Hope you like my post today. Please do not forget to  click “like” or leave your comment if you like it:-)

Stay cool in the summer heat. See you next time.

XOXO

Bonnie

  2. Bonnie can you get any prettier? This dress is gorgeous on you and I can see how happy you are wearing it!! I love the bold floral print and the colors in the dress. Bell sleeves are so nice! You have an amazing figure to show off the dress too. When you add the very cute pumps and crossbody bag along with matching bracelet, you are ready to take on the world with confidence. You go Girl! Thank you so much on the accesory tips, I can always take advice! It is good to use neutrals so as to highlight the dress. Take care Dear, hugs Terri xo.
